This May wedding was lovely indeed with all of its sweet romance and modern garden appeal.

Not sure who gets more excited about the bride’s choice of wedding gown – the bride or her photographer! Krystin wore an ivory Kenneth Pool strapless tulle ballgown with tiers and tiers AND TIERS of pleated tulle fans. All day long, no matter where she was or what the angle, the gown was just D.R.E.A.M.Y. Styled with her unfinished veil and wispy softly curled hair, Krystin was an angel from heaven! Her bouquet was one of our favorites this year with its mixture of white peonies, blue hydrangea, white mini callas, butter double tulips and creamy roses. The bridesmaids wore strapless Vera Wang gowns in layered navy netting and carried tightly composed bouquets of butter, yellow and soft green.
The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Saint Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church in Villanova, Pennsylvania. The weather couldn’t have been better either – it was one of the most beautiful sunny Spring days! a tad windy perhaps, but a little wind can be wonderfully useful for romantic photographs of the gown and veil. The photographer, Gabe Fredericks, took advantage of the picturesque treelined pathways and floral gardens situated around the church for candid photographs and group formals of the bridal party and families.
Krystin and Chris’ 230 guests traveled to nearby Aronimink Golf Club (home to the AT&T National Tournament) in Newtown Square for their reception. Cocktails were enjoyed on the tented terrace with plenty of yummy seafood on hand! The gorgeous ballroom, with its floor to ceiling windows, wood paneling and beamed ceiling, was the perfect room for the early evening dinner dance. The round dinner tables were dressed in layered blue and gold linens, gold chairs and classic white china. Glass vases filled with flowering branches reached high towards the ceiling and low vases filled with blue, ivory, yellow and green flowers provided upclose color.
As it should be, the bride and groom’s first dance was just for them, they were so wrapped up in the moment it seemed like no one else was in the room. Below, the perfectly coiffed and always impeccable Aronimink Golf Club against the midnight blue sky.
