While looking back through event photographs – ostensibly searching for something else – we’ve been too easily distracted by images from weddings that captured a single moment of the day.  A moment that hinted at a deeper story within.  We may look upon the following images and remember the lovely event design, the sensational bridal gown, or how fabulous the orchestra performed.  But it’s far more likely we’ll relive the abundance of love felt by the families, the romantic devotion of the bride and groom or the bottomless well of parental pride.  Another person may see the quiet relief of achievement, the elegance of age, or the nervous anticipation of a life in transition.  In essence, the photos are doing exactly what they were designed to do in the first place.  Tell a story:  if only one frame at a time.
