Wanting to create a warm setting, Alison and Josh decorated the tables with an eclectic mix of items; giant aged candelabras, fabric runners, and low, lush arrangements. Antique-looking framed table numbers were nestled in with low centerpieces and large candle lanterns. For an unexpected look, artichokes and berries were tucked into the centerpieces. Ivory, soft-yellow and lavender garden roses, greens and hydrangeas were one of the many tablescape designs. For a nontraditional spin on tablescapes, the couple topped antique china with seasonal fruits like figs.
Florals and figs decorated the simple white cake. For a moment away from the party, Alison and Josh cut it in private.
