Perhaps it’s relatively obvious why as floral and event designers we’d be thoroughly distracted by the stunning selection of floral frocks available in the fashion world this year. After all, roses bloomed in colorful lace at Valentino; Dries Van Noten and Rochas picked chrysanthemums, Giambattista Valli embroidered vibrant wildflowers on peek-a-boo Chantilly lace, Bottega Veneta scattered silk marguerite daisies on summer dresses, and Georges Hobeika showed a bouquet of water colored roses on crêpe de chine. Chic and strong, floral prints and vintage embroidered flowers give short and long party frocks a romantic fairy-tale spin.
