Hard to believe our beloved Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is closing its doors soon {this June!} at their current location at One Logan Square. At this point, it’s just a matter of days now when we end an era and await the new one to begin in 2016. Yes, they absolutely will reopen here in Philadelphia! But, as we mentioned before, we have many happy memories and proud moments of events we designed at the hotel. Like Dylan’s contemporary Bar Mitzvah celebration (shown here in this post) which we installed in the Spring of 2012. Another total transformation of the space where white fringe ruled the entrance area, sleek white furniture screamed MOD!, and the entire ballroom was aglow in dramatic blue lighting. {Photos courtesy of Susan Beard Design}
Looking back to Dylan’s Spring Bar Mitzvah shown here, we once again get to see all the hip, cool and transparently BLUE details we planned and how they came together to transform the hotel ballroom into one fabulous party! Contemporary lines in white, lucite, metal and glass gave the event design a masculine edginess in the usually traditional setting. Architectural floral designs with imported flowers, like purple King Allium, blue Delphinium, green Goddess Calla Lilies and chartreuse Cymbidium Orchids added just the right amount of statement to the tables. Not to mention the light up furniture, lucite chairs, white fringe draping and dramatic lighting effects to wrap up the space with a sophisticated bow.
Another stunning Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia event to remember fondly for many more years to come…
