The Importance of Mothers
If you are a mother, currently blessed to have a living mother, remembering a mother who is now deceased, married to a mother, have given birth to a mother, or simply love someone who is a mother, we hope you will take a few moments today, this week, and every day, to reflect on the important role of motherhood in human life.
The real religion of the world comes from women much more than from men—from mothers most of all, who carry the key of our souls in their bosoms.
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., in The Professor at the Breakfast-Table (1860)
Producing milestone, family events means we have had, and continue to have, the pleasure to work side-by-side with many mothers. All beautiful, nurturing humans offering their heart and soul to make their child’s dream day come true. What an honor to witness such unconditional love and devotion. And, in turn, to see the joy and wonder dawn on Her face at different, unexpected times throughout the celebration. Such as this quiet moment (seen above), when the bride’s mother watches her husband see his daughter in her wedding gown for the first time, is breathtaking in its tenderness.
Mothers, the depth of their love is deeper than any ocean…
Happy Mother’s Day
